Immotion and ImmotionVR is one of the freshest out-of-home virtual reality company in the world.  Their in-house team create award winning virtual reality games and experiences which are played by hundreds of customers in dozens of locations around the world.

180South were appointed as Immotion’s design agency to create new websites, craft brand and promotional materials to evolve the company and creatively engage with customers.

Creating an incredible user experience.

Designing user experiences that delight is a difficult task. It takes a highly skilled team of experts: user experience strategists, user interface designers, copywriters, photographers, and engineers. 180South assembled a team of specialist to craft and optimize the Immotion user experience.

At the core of every 180South project lies a human focussed, customer first strategy. Whether we are crafting an effective and delightful user experience or a new brand identity, every project starts with a plan.
We worked closely with the Immotion leadership and marketing teams to develop user profiles, journeys and stories, then applied these to a new navigation structure and information architecture.

All screen compatibility.

Immotion’s traffic is heavily swayed to mobile devices. One of our primary goals was to craft the user interface design to be modular, in order to achieve perfect responsiveness, no matter the screen size.

Every great digital product strikes a fine balance between business goals and user needs. Immotion site was no different. While the overarching business goal was to make it easier for users to buy tickets, there were several user goals that needed to be addressed and accomplished. We were able to strike a nice balance between driving sales, helping users find their nearest location and explore the various games & experiences as they become available.

Since the site launch, ‘Immotion’ has seen a dramatic increase in conversion and a 23% decrease in bounce rate. Sales and visits to UK stores are up by 16% along with merchandise revenues up by 25%.
